The benefits of the ‘Mediterranean Diet’

I am often asked what diet I would recommend.  Without hesitation I would encourage my clients to eat a balanced and varied diet, ensuring a broad range or nutrients.  Variety is very important introducing different colors which helps to ensure they are getting a range of vitamins and minerals.  Alongside this rainbow diet of fruits and vegetables, include other food groups such as whole grains, lean protein and healthy fats.

The Mediterranean diet is associated with numerous health benefits mostly due to it's focus on plant based foods as well as healthy fats.
